I’ve been playing with a new-to-me web-based app called Piktochart. It can be used to make infographics. Here is my first attempt. I thought I would use it instead of doing a “regular” blog post on a topic I was wanting to write about. So here it is. Let me know what you think.
Thanks so much to Mia MacMeekin for her support, encouragement, and inspiration! Please visit her blog wonderful blog, An Ethical Island.

How do you support the educators in your building and/or district?

There are many things that define who I am as a person. First of all, I am a mother of 3 wonderful children! I can not express how fortunate we are to have our children in our life! Secondly, I am an elementary educator who recently returned to the classroom after 12+ years as an elementary school administrator. Lastly, I am passionate about helping others, learning about abuse, helping others in abusive relationships, and helping others understand their worth.

I love it!

Thank Mia,
I knew what I wanted to do a post about, but I really didn’t want to do the “usual” blog post. I wanted something that would be more impactful. That is when I saw your infographic about Reflecting. It was great. That’s when I thought, “THAT is how I want to do this post in my head.” So, with your help and inspiration, we made it happen. It’s not perfect, but it’s a start. I’ve now added a new “skill” something I can “do”. hahaha I really like the infographics because they remind me of my love for scrapbooking, which I don’t have time to do anymore.
Thanks again, Mia,
Tia
